Joe studied film and television production at Emerson College in Boston. After graduation he produced a 39-episode season of a late-night, half-hour show. Nightshift that won a Golden Mic Award for "Best Experimental Series." Joe then became the Executive Producer for a company that developed, wrote, and produce image campaigns for Broadcast and Cable Networks and shows. It is here he launched his directing career, filming work for ABC Sports, Showtime and Disney. He managed to pick up numerous awards including two National Emmys. As a natural next step, Joe began directing television commercials for some of the biggest ad agencies in the country. He worked with several New York City production companies directing spots for brands such as Coke, Pepsi Minolta, and Gatorade. Two Super Bowl commercials brought Joe particular notoriety. He was named one of 5 top comedy directors in a cover-story feature by Creative Magazine. Joe continues to be a hot "comedy commodity" director working coast to coast.
